Uncle Sam Wants You! - World War II
The Second World War shook the nation with the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941, and divided the world for four long years. More than 405,000 American soldiers, aviators and navymen died during the war, while those on the home front toiled in wartime factories and carefully policed our coastal fronts.
This tour features Northwestern landmarks of some of the important home front sites, forts and important monuments of WWII.
