Since April 2000, Hampton® Hotels’ Save-A-Landmark® program has restored 40 (and counting) extraordinary attractions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Now it’s time to focus our efforts on the legendary people who have shaped history.
Our mission — restore landmarks throughout North America that honor the achievements of historical legends. Our inspirations - individuals who were determined to change the world to better humanity and benefit future generations. History won't ever forget the people who paved the way - and neither should we. So far this year we’ve honored legendary figures such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Laura Ingalls Wilder, Amelia Earhart, and P.T. Barnum. Our final landmark refurbishment for the year will honor America’s first internationally renowned author, Edgar Allan Poe.
